The cake

I found this extremely easy and fun recipe over at The Tipsy Hostess and thought it would be a fun dessert for Father's Day.

All you need is:

Your favorite cake mix
1 can of your favorite frosting
Two 8-inch cake pans
A bag of M&M's
A bag of Kit Kat bars
Ribbon (if you want to add a theme)

Preheat the oven

Prepare the cake mix

I was bored with the plain batter, so I added some sprinkles that I had in my cabinet

Pour the batter evenly into two 8-inch cake pans

Allow for your cake to cool completely, then stack and frost

Stick your Kit Kat bars around the edge of your cake, and if you "accidentally"
break a few feel free to eat them. No one will notice, I promise.

Pour the M&M's onto the top of the cake and allow for them
to fall around the base of the cake as well
Bon Appetit!

What a cool cake! The icing matches the kit kats perfectly and made me do a double take---I thought you magically iced the cake this way!
I'm going to try this one day.
